an attempted expansion out of electronica and into conceptual instrumental music with a broken mid 90's laptop with a 30 second lag, a baby grand piano, a super expensive hollowbody gibson, a couple casios, a dented condenser, and someones little brother's drum kit with duct tape on the snare drum, a contradiction of beautiful and ravaged gear, made entirely with other peoples gear and in other peoples homes when their parents were out of town. an exploration of have's, want's and needs. a teen sonically exploring the possibilities and limitations of the capital market, and consumer goods influence on improvisation. the whole record is improvised and almost every track is a first take and un-edited afterwards, the musical equivalent of only doing "in-camera editing". the results are swaying tempos, jarring hard tones, and wandering melodies, but over-top of a coherent, flowing structure, till it finally collapses.
